Corn Island does not offer 5-star-accomodations, nor exciting night life, but lots of nature and sea life, a couple of discotheques, where you meet locals, no internet, but a multicultural good-natured happy population of 8000, who do not see the "tourist dollar" in every visitor. The islanders are lobster fishers and leave tourists pretty much to themselves. Nicaragua is a country full of surprises and nature wonders, yet to be discovered by tourists. Centralamericas safest country, the friendliest people, but quite undevelloped tourist infrastructure. Specially for divers Corn Island is a true paradise, since dive shops exist only short time and the Island is not much visited yet.
